| Swan Haven Interpretive Centre |
Swan Haven is open from April 1 - April 30
Weekdays: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Weekends and Holidays: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
M'Clintock Bay on Marsh Lake hosts a spring spectacle of returning swans and other waterbirds. Featuring the first open water in the region, the bay has many attractions for early migrants. This bay offers shallow water, access to food, good visibility, and little disturbance to waterbirds, making it a critical stopover on the long migration to northern nesting grounds
Swan Haven Interpretation Centre
At the Swan Haven Interpretation Centre visitors will find indoor and outdoor interpretive panels, daily swan counts, activities and an excellent viewing platform.
Late March, April, and early May are the best times to visit Swan Haven Interpretation Centre. Trumpeter and Tundra swans, wigeons, Canada Geese, Northern Pintails, shorebirds, eagles, and other predators abound in this small bay, easily seen from the observation decks.
Join an interpretive walk and find out how the migration is unfolding, or relax on the viewing deck. The centre is open during the month of April and inside you'll find interpretive displays and information about the birds found here in the spring.
