Climate Change - Yukon Government Initiatives

The Government of Yukon already has many actions underway which help us adapt to climate change impacts or reduce our greenhouse gas emissions.

Ultimately it will be the collective action of Yukoners that determines whether or not we will successfully adapt to climate change in the North.

 

 

Green and Sustainable Procurement

Green and Sustainable Procurement (2011)

Yukon Government is part of the Yukon Intergovernmental Committee on Environmental Sustainability (YICES), an organization committed to reducing the environmental impact of their operations. On October 25, 2011, the YICES group facilitated a workshop on Green and Sustainable Procurement. The slide decks from the presentations are available for viewing:
