Waste Manifests

Waste manifests are required to accompany every shipment of special waste by road. The section tracks all shipments of special waste transported through a manifest database system. 

Copies of the waste manifests are sent to the section from the shippers, and receivers, where they are reconciled to verify that the type and quantities of special wastes identified by the generator have been received by an approved facility.
