Water Resources Hydrology Section's Role

The role of the Hydrology Section of Environment Yukon is to:

Carrying out this work requires hydrometeorological data obtained through the operation of hydrometric, groundwater, snow course and meteorological networks, as well as coordinating research activities at the integrated Wolf Creek Research Watershed, which is required for model and methodology development and calibration.

Yukon Water Wells

Data on the wells in the Yukon can be found on the Groundwater Information Network (GIN) website.  On this website, information such as well location (coordinates), elevation, depth, water level, water use and hydraulic connectivity can be found.

Working with Other Jurisdictions
