Environment Fair 2011
Learning for the Land
The 2011 Environment Fair was held May 13-14, 2011 at the Takhini Arena in Whitehorse.
This event showcased a wide range of initiatives being undertaken in Yukon to the benefit the environment through interactive exhibits and presentations.
Popular presentations included: an edible ice cream permafrost display, a kool-aid demonstration of the benefits of wetlands, and much more!
There were 1,300 participants, including 200 students, 900 members of the public, and exhibitors from 35 different agencies.
