Upgraded boat launch at Aishihik Lake campground
A jointly funded dredging project by Yukon Energy and Yukon Parks saw the harbour mouth widened and dug out. With a minimum water depth of one metre guaranteed, boats can now be launched with ease.

As part of its stewardship and operational management programs, Yukon Energy felt this was an area it could make a beneficial contribution to community use of the recreational and subsistence resources of the lake.
Spring 2011 maintenance of the boat launch

Excavator work continued on the sides of the channel, placing material (gravels, cobbles, and lakebed sediments) into a dump truck.

The finished boat launch, as seen in mid-July 2011.

Yukon Parks thanks YEC for enhancing the boating experience of the campground's many users.
