Conrad Campground development

Conrad Campground is one of the shared priorities identified in the Memorandum of Understanding on various economic development projects, signed by the Government of Yukon (YG) and the Carcross/Tagish First Nation (CTFN) in December, 2013. Yukon Parks will continue working cooperatively with CTFN on this project. Yukon Parks is also working closely with CTFN and YG’s heritage branches to ensure that the development of the campground is consistent with the objectives of the adjacent Conrad Historic Site, where the small town of Conrad City supported the Venus silver mine in the early 1900s.
