Environment Yukon’s Hydrology Unit monitors streamflow, meteorological and snow depth conditions at 56 locations around the territory. This information is used to make projections of total volume runoff for April through September each year.

The Southern Lakes reached their 2014 peak water level on August 26, six days later than the average. Publication of the weekly Break Up and Water Level Condition Report will resume in Spring 2015.
